Erin McVoy

Operations + Production Director

Erin is an Aspen native fortunate to have grown up in the Roaring Fork Valley. She attended the Aspen Community School, where she learned to appreciate art, music, dance and theater. She has many fond memories of performing on stage at the Wheeler and was a young volunteer at the inaugural Aspen Shortsfest. She spent several years post college traveling the world and has lived on both coasts of the US. Regna Frank-Jones

HEAD OF EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT + PROGRAMS

Regna originally joined the Aspen Film team in 2014, and  has enjoyed a range of full and part-time positions within the organization across nearly every department. She is thrilled to join the team again in a role near and dear to her heart to continue to amplify and develop the education department as a robust and integral part of the mission of Aspen Film. Regna holds a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction through the Arts from Lesley University and uses an interdisciplinary approach to development and community engagement.

Prior to moving to the Roaring Fork Valley, she co-owned a small, independent movie house which provided dynamic programming through film, music, performance art, and community events. Alongside her work for Aspen Film, she is a freelance producer and advisor for nonprofit arts organizations with a focus on mission and culture, strategic planning, and systems development. Roger Ramos

Education Coordinator

Roger is a local, born in Aspen and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley. His Mexican heritage has led him to see the beauty in diversity and the benefit of multiple perspectives. Son of immigrants, now citizens, he knows this truly is a great place to be and grow, especially when it comes to the arts. He attended Basalt High School where he learned to appreciate art, music, film, dance and theater. He was part of Basalt High School’s Chamber Choir for four years. He also has many fond memories of performing on stage in a lead role his senior year for the production ALL SHOOK UP.

The youngest of the crew, his film experience comes from making silly school projects and watching films like anyone else. As a cinephile, he’s come to appreciate the art of making as well as presenting, and recognizes the history and the pioneers’ efforts from silent films to the achievements in visual and auditory effects that we see today and the power that a story has while unfolding on the silver screen.

He is here now to be the bridge between the up-and-coming students, teachers, and revolutionary films that inspire the next generation while teaching the old generation new perspectives.
